Basic list of Greek Gods and their associations.

The ancient Greek Gods are the amazing heroes of creation. They looked and acted like us. The Greeks who followed these Gods are known as Hellenistic.

Aphrodite - Goddess of love.

Apollo - God of medicine, music, poetry, and health.

Ares - God of war and strength.

Athena -Goddess of wisdom, battle strategy, and war.

Artemis - Goddess of the hunt, animals, night, and the moon.

Demeter - Goddess of agriculture, plants, harvest, and fertility.

Dionysus - God of wine, grapes, juice, party, and family.

Hades - God of underworld, gems, money, and wealth.

Hephaestus - God of smiths, coal, fire, metal, and volcanoes.

Hera - Goddess of family, children, peace, and motherhood.

Hermes - Messenger of the gods, travel, and helper.

Hestia - Goddess of the hearth, fire, and happiness.

Poseidon - God of the seas, ocean, waves, storms, and floods.

Zeus - God of all the gods, sky, eagle, air, air travel, clouds.

Nemesis - Goddess of revenge.

Eros - God of love.

Hecate - Goddess of the moon, aircraft, spells, crossroads, children, light and darkness.

Persephone - Goddess of the Underworld, spring, harvest, plants, animals, and wealth.

Pan - God of nature.
