Some insightful information about Tarot Cards and different ways to do readings. Reference: Raven Grimassi.

There are a few different ways you can do a Tarot reading and different spreads. It all depends on you and your style, what you are comfortable with. Here are a few different ways you can do Tarot readings by Raven Grimassi.

Yes and No Questions:

For simple yes and no questions, five cards are dealt out. The reader looks at the different suits among the cards. Pentacles and Cups signify yes, Swords and Clubs indicate no.

Passage of Time :

A person may want to know, for example, how long before he or she gets a job. The reader would deal out two parallel horizontal lines of six cards, face down. Each card is then turned up from left to right, beginning with the top line of cards. This entire procedure is repeated until the Ace of Clubs or Swords appears. Each card turned over, represents one month. Numbers can also indicate periods of time.

Example: Three of Pentacles, Nine of Swords, etc.

Divine a Situation:

To divine a particular situation, seven cards are dealt out in a vertical line. The middle card is turned over and this represents the situation (what everything is centered around). Next, the cards are turned over in pairs, beginning with the top and bottom cards. Each pair is discerned in the context of how they relate to each other and the center. This is continued until all cards are turned over.
