Materials:
1 Seashell
1 Pot
3 Candles( 1 red, 1 white, 1 green)
3 Tarot Cards( The Sun, Ace of Wands, Ten of Cups)
1/4 C. Rain Water
1 Oakleaf
1 tsp. Rose Petal Ashes
1/2 inch section of a feather(tip works best)
1 drop Blood from each the mother and father
1. Place each candle under corresponding card. (red/sun, white/ace, green/ten)
2. "Arianrod, We* ask that you bless this union of body and blood." Light the RED candle.
3. "Cernunnos, we ask that you hear our plea and bless us with the strength to obtain it." Light the WHITE candle.
4. "Brigid, we ask that you bless my body and open it to a little one so it may grow and join the circle of life." Light the GREEN candle.
5. Hold up the rain water. "The rain purifies the earth with each falling drop, we ask now that you purify our bodies and cleanse our minds." Add to the Pot.
6. Hold up the oak leaf. " The leaves often protect us and even in moments substain us, we ask that you nuture us so that we may bring a new life to fruitation." Add to the Pot.
7. Hold up the rose ashes. " A rose is the beauty of life and a symbol of love, Its charred remains show us that even the most beautiful things can be destroyed. We ask that you aide us to protect the life we wish to create from harm and compilicatioins." Add to the Pot.
8. Hold up the Feather Peice. " A feather gives lift to the birds, protects it from the cold, and give comfort to its little ones. We ask that you protect our child and and comfort it as it grows." Add to the Pot.
9. Draw a drop of blood from each mother and father. " Blood is the essence of life and flows through us all. We ask that you create a new life and flow through its veins as strongly as you do ours." Add to the pot.
10. Boil everything in pot for about three minutes.
11. While pot is boiling, hold up the seashell. " A seashell has been a symbol of fertillity since the old was new. We ask that you will again be that symbol and hold within you the power to make a new life." Place shell in the pot. Turn off the heat and let sit till the mixture is room temperature. Have the women carry/ wear it, even after she has concieved until the child is born.
