Hello, my question is about crystallomancy. I've done some scrying and have gotten used to seeing almost exclusively animal symbols. I did some crystal gazing on 8/31 after having cast a spell. I'm not sure what I was supposed to see but I saw two animal symbols and then my mind focused on a place of light and I almost went into a complete trance. I stopped it because I didn't know if this was to be expected. Should I have gone with the trance state and what feels to be a relinquishing of my will and wait to have been reawakened or wake up?

I really would like to hear other's experiences with this.
