I seek aid in creating a protection spell to place on a soldier who is far away...

I originally cast wards around him before he left on an 8 month deployment and everything went well... Recently though (entering the 5th month) I have been having unsettling premonitions about his future, nothing concrete but still something I am worrying about...

I know he is safe for now, having spoken with him through email earlier in the day, but these premonitions still concern me...

So what I would like is help in creating some kind of protection for him that I can cast from quite a distance away... Power is not a problem, I have enough, I have just never worked any magic over a distance so vast, let alone across an ocean...

Any suggestions for me???
