Dear SoM community,

A close friend of mine very recently got into this religion, as well as this site, and before she logged on, I briefed her on what magick can and can't do. Soon, however, she had told me this:

"Werewolves, vamps? Joss, you flat out told me that magic can't make you any of these things. What gives? Why am I seein' so many transformation spells? Are you sure?"

Now, had I not been around, she would have fallen prey to the ideal, dubbed fluffy, and possibly got gaged when all she set out to do was learn.

I understand there are people out there who actually think they are these things, and I know that has do to some non-magick issue in their mind, whatever that may be. This is not addressed to you, I understand that that is not your fault.

This is addressed to the members who know they are role-playing, pretending, and posting fake spells.

I respectfully ask you to stop. This is a site for learning, and if you are knowingly putting up false information, then you know that you are leading people astray.

There are t housands of websites made specifically so people can pretend that they are fantasy creatures, and interact with other like-minded individuals.

Please, this is not the place. Reconsider what you are doing, and think about how it will affect others.

Finally, regardless as to whether you truly think you are one, pretend you are one, or are a regular user reading this, have a blessed day/night.

With love and hope for change,

JossAS
