Cord Magick is a form of magick that involves the tying of knots in one or more pieces of string whose color(s) match(es) your intention(s) to bring about certain desired effects. Cord Magick can be used for general, all-purpose needs, such as for protection, peace, and happiness, or it can be used for specific needs, such as summoning a new job opportunity or a new lover. The possibilities are absolutely endless, to say the least.

For Cord Magick you will need a cord, or piece of string 9 feet long; make sure the cord or string is in the color that matches your intention (Red for lust or power, green for wealth, etc.) Same goes for if you are using multiple strings/cords. To begin the actual spell, first visualize your intention and transfer it energetically to the cord/string. Then, when you feel ready tie the first knot at one end of the string/cord and say:

" By knot of one, the spell's begun "

Next, visualize your intention again and when ready tie the second knot at the opposite end of the string/cord and say:

" By knot of two, it comes true "

( For the third knot and all 6 after it, tie downward from knot 1. )

For the third knot visualize your intention again and say:

" By knot of three, it shall be "

For the fourth knot, visualize your intention and say:

" By knot of four, it's strengthened more "

For the fifth knot, visualize your intention and say:

" By knot of five, it may thrive "

For knot six, visualize your intention and say:

" By knot of six, this spell I fix "

Knot seven, visualize your intention and say:

" By knot of seven, with the stars in Heaven "

Knot eight, visualize your intention and say:

" By knot of eight, this spell is fate "

And lastly, knot nine, visualize your intention once more and say:

" By knot of nine, this thing is mine. "

Keep the cord/string someplace special, perhaps on your altar, until it has done its work.

If you ever need to undo the effects of Cord Magick , untie each and every knot starting from the very first knot you tied down to the last knot you tied IN ORDER OF HOW YOU TIED THEM , asking that what you originally cast the spell for be reversed and nullified with the untying of each knot.

Several variations of this spell exist (the wording of this particular chant was from Christopher Penczak's The Outer Temple of Witchcraft ) so feel free to adapt it to your needs.
