I just want to make sure i got spell casting right.

This is what i do:
Take a shower and cleanse my self.
Meditate
perform lesser banishing ritual to cleanse area
Make a Circle.
Ground and center (is there a problem if i don't do shielding???)
Do spell and visualize outcome
Send my energy with intent and purpose
Thank the elements and dismiss them
and close the circle.

So is this how you're supposed to do spell casting or is there more to it. can you guy post the procedures you guys do???
