Today I burned some frankincense incense in my room for the first time, I put a little bit too much on and the room filled with smoke.

I was burning the incense next to my window, so I opened it to clear the smoke, no heating on in the room, and everything was freezing cold (bad weather in the UK at the moment) in my room apart from a spot on my desk that was really warm, the incense was no where near this area, I just put my hand across the area a few times and I could feel heat.

Could anyone shed some light on this, as there was no physical way this could have happened naturally.
