Hello all,

I have joined this site today with many questions, an inquisitive spirit, and a completely open mind. I'd like some insight from you all regarding what path of education would be most conducive to my beliefs, direction, goals, etc, as I am fairly new and uneducated in the many varying forms of magic.

First, allow me to tell you all a bit about myself. I am a 27 year old female, who resides in NJ, but spends most of my time in Philadelphia. I am just three months shy of graduating from culinary school, with the goal of opening a successful special occasion cake shop. In my spare time (which is very limited), I enjoy reading, charcoal work and sketching, animals and nature, etc.

Spiritually, I have never felt attached to any formalized religion, and have always questioned the more "traditional" paths. From a very early age, I have been attracted aesthetically and spiritually to more "morbid" and "darker" images, with those types of images evoking a powerful sense of belonging, power, life, and direction. I have always respected what little I know about voodoo, and medieval withcraft, and have believed in the human ability to draw upon nature, spirits, inner strength, and Gods to conjure spells. Thus, I would like to begin the process of educating myself about a particular type of magic/belief that would suit those interests.

I believe in learning the history of a belief, its core values and beliefs, and ideology before committing myself fully, and would like your feedback regarding what choice could be appropriate based on this insight.

I would like to thank you all for your consideration of me, and any light you may be able to shed. I am greatly looking forward to exploring an entirely new world, and delving into recognizing my own potential.

Thank You All,
Klaudia
