Hi! I don't know how to start this thread. Hey! Hello! How are you doing? Oh, whatever.

I don't know how this all works, but I've kind of started my own little tradition. I call it light/dark Wicca, but, the name's a work in progress. Essentially, I'm about apreciating both the light and darkness in their own ways. They each have a set God/Goddess. My God, Kato, or Lord Kato as I refer to him as, is the god of darkness. Iridis, Milady Iridis, is the Goddess of light. This might seem backwards, but when you think about it, it makes sense. The moon, the classic symbol of the Goddess, reflects light. Not it's own light, but it is still light.

We have not a year and a day, but a month. We use this time to research a new Wiccan topic or tradition daily. Then, as I assume you would have no light/dark coven, you would have a self-initiation.

You pledge to follow either Iridis or Kato. Neither one is evil, but each does have its pitfalls.

I am the first initiated light/dark Wiccan. I'd love it if there were more of us!
