hi. Ive been fiddling around with candle making and I've been trying to get a wax candle produce a blue flame. Unfortunately Paraffin wax is a non polar compound.
all the metals that burn into colorful flames i can find only dissolve in polar chemicals. So these chemicals can not be mixed into wax. only be soaked in the wick.

I was thinking of making an emulsion with the wax and alcohol, but i do not know if that is possible.

Does anyone have any ideas to solve my conundrum?
My goal is to add a little extra punch to a spell by controlling flame color.
But physics is getting in the way
