hello,
I'm new and learning the basics.
Things I've learned so far are
1>Meditating
2>Grounding
3>Centering
Found an article on psi balls here
http://www.spellsofmagic.com/spells/spiritual_spells/energy_spells/4409/page.html

My questions,

In grounding, i visualize these roots of a tree taking away my negative energy to the core of the earth, and my leaves drawing positive energy from the sun.
1>Can this be done at night? When there's no sun present?
2>What do I do after this? I'm full of positive energy say after half an hour, I take my roots and my leaves back into myself, but what do I do with this energy I have within me now? Don't think I should try a spell until I have more experience, as the last time i tried i had disastrous results, so where does this energy go?

While centering, I visualize small quantum particles of energy randomly moving inside me, then these particles gravitate to each other forming a circle of energy. When I have all these particles together in a compact circle, I visualize them forming a well-defined sphere of high energy within me. Then again, what do I do with this energy if I'm not casting a spell? Just let it stay in me??

Same with Psi balls, I'd visualize drawing energy from a source and forming a ball in my hands, when the ball grows big, i would compress it and keep adding more energy to make it grow again. After doing this for a while, I would visualize this energy ball decaying, it'll disappear and release it's energy to the atmosphere (that's what is suggested in the link i posted). So what's the point? If I'm letting the energy go away, then why take the trouble to bring it in? Is this some kind of a meditation thing to calm myself down and increase the power to visualize? If It isn't, I don't see a point in doing this.

As you can see, I have some doubts. I'd very much appreciate if someone with knowledge could clear these up.

Thanks for helping a newcomer :)
