Didn't know where to post this at all, so decided it might be appropriate to post it on here.

I want to start using runes, mainly just because they gather my interest, although I have done no research on them at all.
The main thing I want to do is carve a rune onto a stone, then wear the stone like a necklace sort of talisman thing... and I wanted to know if this would really work.
