Okay I see a lot of controversy concerning the validity of the allotting of elements depending on sign. This is what I gather. The sun/star signs divide the elements among the ones who's overall (average) mentality matches/resembles traits of said element. The problem with this method is that it is based on a quite averaged out consensus based on birth time of year/conception. But this method does often prove effective,(note the "average" person's personality / traits are often more than one "type") considering it is based on the "average" person..o.O
