I'm not a child nor am I influenced by the silly twilight series. My question is more about energy vampires. I've heard that sometimes energy vampires can be your near and dear ones. People you love the most. For eg: they could be your children, a sick family member, a best friend. And in your quest to help these people, they (most of the times, unintentionally) drain you off your energy, turning you into an energy vampire.

Now what happens to a person who doesnt want to be an energy vampire? what if he can't cut away from the energy vampire who has been draining him or her, because that person (like i said earlier) is a child or person in the family or a best friend? Is there a way to protect a soul from being drained when they are in the presence of an energy vampire that they cannot cut away from or avoid? Is there a way to turn an energy vampire into a normal happy person again (without having him steal energy from someone else)?

I've been reading up on this, and all I get is silly spells to turn a happy, healthy, mentally sane person into a vampire, when I'm looking for a method to exactly the opposite...
