OK i do not know how pet can do this, but all councils should be able to add a special signature to their spells to give proof it belongs to them.

So no one can come afterward and claim the spell as their own, this signature should only be able to change/remove by the bearer of the signature only and it should be placed in a way that it will attach when people copy and paste, if this cannot be done, add an option to block copy and pasting for spells.
