Steps to take care of sage:
1. Always remember, your sage doesn't need wet soil! Dry soil is great for sage.
2. Your sage needs very little water.
3. Your sage needs as MUCH sunlight as possible.
4. Make sure you have atleast a 2 meter square for your sage to grow and live in.

Non-magickal uses:
Sage is good as incense, if you rub the leaves and flowers.
The roots make a great tea that'll heal and make a woman stronger afte childbirth.
Magickal uses: Sage is helpful as an incense, it is very good if you need a plant that'll produce some smoke. (for blessings and rituals.)
Grinding up the sage roots, blessing them and then using them in tea will help recovery from pains.
