Ok so recently a friend of mine who studies herbalism in magick gave me a sort of 'recipe' on how to make a herb puppet! it's really cute and goes well in all sorts of rituals and spells :) so read on if your interested!

ok so first you get a piece of white cloth, preferably silk or cotton, and draw the outlines of two doll figures. They should be about 15 cm (6 in) high because if they were any smaller, they would become difficult to fill with herbs! Cut out the two shapes and sew them together using thread of a color appropriate to the purpose of the spell. e.g red for love or white for peace and so on. Leave a gap at the top of the head so that you can fill the poppet later.

If the poppet is going to be used in a group ritual, you may want to share the sewing with each member adding a few stitches before passing it on.

Fill the poppet with the herbs, adding a few drops of an essential oil if you wish to and complete the last few stitches to close the gap.

Congratulations, you've just made your very own herb puppet! Have fun with him/her and don't forget to keep it clean for future references! blessed be!
