i think i just had my first successful AP. i was laying down meditating and then began to feel numb. and i wasnt able to really move my body. after a few mintutes my body felt like it was shaking inside. or like i was being tossed around by waves and then next thing i knew i was kind of floating up through my roof and above my house but at the same time i was still aware of my physical body. when i was above my house i felt like it was a dream yet i was awake and knew it wasnt a dream. is this what astral projection feels like? or is it suposed to feel like its really happening, like your really above your house and you not aware of your body? and the astral world (if i was really projecting) seemed just like the physical world and looked like the physical world. this whole time i thought the astral was going to look like a place ive never seen before..? and when i went back into my body i felt like i had been asleep for hours. is this AP? or did i just get close and only imagine myself floating?
