A few years ago I was spending time with a friend that was also sensitive to spirits. After driving about 30 miles from his home he decided to reroute us to another area that was supposed to be filled with the energy of something other than the spirits of those who had passed on. Since this area is close to my home I have gone back there a few times afterward with other friends that are also sensitive to spiritual energy.

What he explained to me that the spirits of vampires and other beings were meant to come there as they slept. The area is usually packed with them though it does change some as more people move in and out of sleep and the souls come and go with them. The energy is stronger than anything I've dealt with while visiting any other place that was actually haunted. Is this place an astral plane that is a place for what my friend explained or is there a possibility that it is just haunted by the souls of things that have passed on?
