Hello, my accounts on SoM are Draiocht, LifeReborn, Khukua, and Kebechet. Draiocht, until recently, was the priest of Baying Wolves, LifeReborn was originally my first pick for switching out my names, Khukua is a member of The Light and Dark, our sister coven, and Kebechet is my new account as priestess of Baying Wolves.

Yes, I said Draiocht was priest and Kebechet is priestess. The reason for this is that, in the beginning, KuchikiRukia and TopazWolf001 were running the coven for a long time. Last November, Topaz went inactive on the site, leaving Rukia to run the coven by herself. Over time, both she and I discussed a few times about changing the coven up, making it better, etc. Eventually, it was decided that Topaz was not coming back, and near the end of May, I, a female, was made priest of Baying Wolves under a male gender. This was done due to system requirements, rather than my person wish to be identified as a male and has been a source of irritation for me, more so because I dislike lying and holding back information more than I dislike being called a male.

Rukia is not an inexperienced member of the site, she has been a member of it far longer than myself. That being said, Rukia has not run an active coven on the site. Rukia is knowledgeable on a few topics, but her knowledge is limited, and it makes her feel uncomfortable leading her coven.

No, I am not trying to embarrass her. No, I am not trying to smear her good name. She and I have talked about why she hasn't been around since she made me priest, and I am simply offering a truthful statement to all of you. For me, it is hard to see one of the leaders of a coven, any coven, much less the one I am co-leading, as inactive. As we have much seen in the past, one of the main reasons covens go inactive and stay inactive is due to the lack of participation by the leadership. Rukia herself admitted that she may need to be replaced because of her feelings. This is why I removed Rukia.

The original reasoning behind me using LifeReborn rather than Kebechet is two-fold. The first reason being that I had joined, posted, and participated in The Dark and Light previously to my moving Life to Baying Wolves. The second reason is much simpler, I had forgotten I even had the account Kebechet until today. Keb, while not my first choice at being the new priestess of Baying Wolves, is still one I have no issues using, though I do have my own reasons for using Keb over Life. If I were to wait for Life to be able to be promoted, I would be mascurading as a male for another two and a half weeks, something I don't want to do for several reasons. One, I dislike implying I am male when I am otherwise because it is lying in my eyes. Two, I dislike being referred to by a name that no longer fits me. And three, I am intending on joining an organization which upholds the idea of ma'at over isfet. Ma'at, basically, is the world within balance, with things occuring as is their nature. Isfet, however, is things occuring as is not their nature, with things without any balance. For me, it is in my nature to be as truthful as possible, even if it ends up hurting someone's feelings, I will be truthful.

And this, would be my half of my reasoning for posting this at all, rather than just doing it and informing my members only. My other half of my reasoning is this, we are a community, as opposite, insane, disparate, separate, and strange we all are, we are still a community. For me, community is more than just the people around you, it is the people you interact with on a day by day basis, it is people you care about and for, it is people you are highly involved with and spend a good amount of time around. For some, if not for all, I would call us a community. And not everyone is deeply connected with each member of their community.

Furthermore, this reasoning is why I appointed Practitioner, who is also Yummy, as my new priest. Pract has been a member of this site for a while, and as Pract, he has been a member of Council of Knowledge, also one of Baying Wolves' sister covens. As Yummy, he has been serving as my righthand man and councilor for what should be at least a month now, and he was a member before that. His record speaks for itself, both as a member of Baying Wolves and a member of Council of Knowledge, and so, I have asked that he also post, in the same spirit as I have.

Thank you.
